Writing blogs is a lot different than writing essays. The blog writing is geared toward a much larger audience than an essay. Blogs are available to the whole world, where as an essay may not be. The topics may be different and the style of writing will be less formal in blog writing. Blog writing is more of a freestyle writing and it can’t really be taught, it’s more of saying what’s on your mind. With a group you have to figure out a process to choose which topic you’re going to write about. There are many different ideas which can be good or bad. You must develop chemistry within the group. There can be different viewpoints on a certain topic which can strengthen the argument and help to make a moral argument. Blog writing can be more fun but at the same time more difficult because you have such a broad range of ideas to choose from.
